I don't follow nascar, don't really care too much about it, yada yada yada.
All that being said, that was probably one of the best publicity stunts I've seen in the longest time.

Personally I would have been screaming if I saw something like that. I'd have been totally hyper, that's for sure.
Any other info on the background? Was this like totally spontaneous - ok, no way it was TOTALLY spontaneous, but it sure looked like nobody but the NASCAR folks there knew what was happening.
'course, seeing the racecar on the way to the pitstop, in regular traffic, must've been pretty weird!
