Racing - Hartford Criterium, 2007

The Hartford Criterium, 2007, Cat 3's.

Due to a bad connection between the helmet cam and the camcorder, I got a lot of picture breakup. At first it was pretty bad, but after a while it simply cut out. The video editor ignores blue screen shots (how appropriate) so later in the clip you just hyperspace from one moment to another.

I included a couple corners, a firm nudge (and someone pounded into me from the left after the nudge) and my tactically perfect but physiologically lacking final two laps.

Great video, despite the technical problems. I'm hoping you'll post that Cat 4 crash--I was on the inside when it happened and saw a bike flip through the air off to my left. It would be interesting to see what it looked like from outside

Working on that vid (a non-helmet cam for those that weren't there). The crash itself looks unspectacular as I don't see a flipping bike, but maybe I missed it.

There is no picture breakup when the camcorder was handheld, hence the logic that it was a connection problem.

Loved the video - despite the breakups (though I can just imagine how frustrating it was to edit). It's cool to see a venue you raced at on video. Despite your description of blowing up, you sure look like you did well anyway! Thanks for posting the vid - I know that's a lot of work, but we do enjoy them!
